The Legend of Heroes-2012 Sino-Japan Fighting Championship drew end

       Sponsored by China International Cultural Communication Center, the Legend of Heroes-2012 Sino-Japan Fighting Championship made its closing show at the Hunshan Stadium, Jiangsu Province. The event was organized by Beijing Shenghua International Martial Art Club, and co-sponsored by Kunshan municipal sports bureau, Jiangsu Yuansheng Investment Co., LTD and Japan Chinese Fighting Promotion Institute.

      Secretary-general of CICCC, General Dai Shugao declared the championship open, seven pairs of competitors from China and Japan respectively competed fiercely against each other. In 65kg Category contest, Ding Ning defeated his Japanese counterpart Kaihikaitai. It was the first triumph for team China. Deng Li fought against Satoru in 63kg and unfortunately the former was defeated by the latter. Zhang Bo of China won his Japanese opponent Shohei Kanoyama by a narrow margin in 60kg category. Another contest of the same category, Chiharu Manda outclassed Fan Zhongjie, beating him in the second round. Fan is actually not a professional boxer; rather, he is from Taiwan and now a PHD student in the field of medical technology. Nevertheless Fan Zhongjie has been in fighting for at least 17 years. Dong Jiangtao and his Shinichi Nagata made a match in 66kg. The two spared no effort at fighting, been hit on faces and heads and finally Dong beat Shinichi on his face, Shinichi fell down, Dong won the fight. Kang En lost the 64kg to his Japanese rivalry Naoki. Though Kang En one of the key fighters of Shenghua Club, but due to his absence from training for last eight months, his performance looked relatively inferior to Naoki. By then it was a 3-3 tied situation, therefore the last one bout was vital to both sides. Xu Yan of China fought with Haraya of Japan, in 70kg of final fight. Xu Showed significant advantages from the beginning, beating the rivalry to fall down many times until the end. His triumph took merely on minute to finish and it determined the overall score. Team China won the championship eventually.

       It is through this championship that the cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Japan have been greatly enhanced and promoted. Friendship between the two nations are hugely deepened too. On top of all these, the event also served an important cultural link between China and Japan, leading a more cooperative relationship between the two.
