CICCC organizes solicitude-conveying visit to the Academy of the Special Police Unit of the Chinese

       In building the Chinese Dream and promoting the Chinese culture Reported by Cheng Chen: on 31st July, China International Cultural Communication Center (CICCC) organized solicitude-conveying visit to the Academy of the Special Police Unit of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force to mark the 86th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Liberation Army.

      The Academy of the Special Police Unit of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force is a higher educational institute under jurisdiction of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force. It is a fundamental department for counter-terrorism training. In the last 32 years since its foundation, the institute has supplied the state and the army with a great number of politically reliable, honest and upright and professional capable soldiers. It has carried out many and various tasks including emergent events, counter-terrorism, stability maintenance, disaster-relieving and military performances as well, and becoming a importance training base of the special police of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force, a major force for crashing down on terrorism and emergence and an irreplaceable window for foreign cultural communication. The Academy plays an indispensable part for the protection of the domestic peace and defense of the motherland. The Academy received the visiting leadership from CICCC with their military performances which indicated the bravery and fighting effectiveness of the soldiers. The leadership from CICCC paid their visit to the campus and facilities for training as well. The visiting organizations also presented the host with calligraphy works and painting.

      Executive chairman of the CICCC Long Yuxiang extended his festival greeting to the soldiers at the beginning of his speech. He also thanked deeply for the care and support the CICCC received over time from the PLA itself and the leadership of the special police unit. Long said, since the establishment of the strategic partnership between the CICCC and Academy, the Academy has play a very active role as the base for security training for personnel to be sent overseas. The Academy implemented the instruction from the Central Committee of the CPC to give full play to the strength of society, to develop the training for overseas Chinese personnel. It has contributed considerably to the courses such as overseas security training, the overseas base building, protection and management, boats security maintenance, overseas Chinese and organizations safety. The institution has carried out more than 3000 person-time security training. It has made significant contribution to the improvement and maintenance of the personal and property safety of Chinese working or living overseas.

      The CICCC and CCPC will further promote the communication and exchanges with the PLA and special police unit. We are determined to enhance the communication, to enrich the cultural life of the servicemen and to contribute to the relationship building of the people and the army. Dean of the Academy Zhao Si expressed his deep gratitude for the CICCC and CCPC. He issued honorary certificates to the CICCC. He claimed that the Academy was an importance force to crack down on crimes, to preserve and protect the safety and interest of the people. It was a specially established and specially trained army for special tasks. He hoped that the communication between the police and the people would be further enhanced, as the cultural life of the Academy would be enriched with it, so will the combat effectiveness, the spirit and initiative of the army.
